San Carlos, Mexico is located about a 6 hour drive south of Tucson, Arizona.

Entry into Mexico is via Nogales (about 70 miles south of Tucson on I-19).

From there, it's about a 5 hour drive through the Mexican city of Hermosillo.

San Carlos is on the eastern edge of the Sea of Cortez (near Guaymas) and is a

popular tourist destination for Americans from Tucson or Phoenix.
